Grand Re-Opening Event | Pinellas Park FL

With our recent purchase of Maserati St. Petersburg, the Qvale Auto Group wanted to kick things off in style with a Grand Re-Opening Event to include all the elements expected for a luxury dealership’s reopening event. But those plans quickly changed as we turned the focus to relief efforts to aid victims and their families devastated by Hurricane Ian.

Bruce Qvale, Owner of the Qvale Auto Group, said, “We were thrilled to purchase Alfa Romeo/Maserati of St. Petersburg, and our team worked tirelessly to plan an extraordinary Grand Opening Event, but sometimes you have to switch gears and adapt to what’s in front of you. In this case, it was setting aside the celebration for ourselves and inviting the community to come together for the sake of others.”

A Hurricane Relief Effort campaign was planned to help raise funds for the American Red Cross’ Hurricane Ian Relief Fund. Our dealership presented a $50,000 check to the American Red Cross on October 8, 2022, during our Grand Re-Opening Event. The event was fully focused on community and included entertainment by a stilted LED robot performer, glow-in-the-dark lounge furniture and luxurious Alfa Romeo and Maserati vehicles on display.

The Qvale Auto Group has successfully been in business for 76 years and also owns Audi Lakeland and Volkswagen Brandon. The effort that was put forth to create the Grand Re-Opening Event and bring the community together for a great cause resulted in exactly what we were hoping for — unity. We will continue to build upon the community we have created as a whole and hope to continue our efforts towards helping those in need.
