Find out how we’ve been involved in the community recently — we can’t wait to do even more in the future!
Grand Re-Opening Event & Hurricane Relief Efforts
With our recent purchase of Maserati St. Petersburg, the Qvale Auto Group wanted to kick things off in style with a Grand Re-Opening Event to include all the elements expected for a luxury dealership’s reopening event. But those plans quickly changed as we turned the focus to relief efforts to aid victims and their families devastated by Hurricane Ian.
Bruce Qvale, Owner of the Qvale Auto Group, said, “We were thrilled to purchase Alfa Romeo/Maserati of St. Petersburg, and our team worked tirelessly to plan an extraordinary Grand Opening Event, but sometimes you have to switch gears and adapt to what’s in front of you. In this case, it was setting aside the celebration for ourselves and inviting the community to come together for the sake of others.”
On October 8, 2022, our dealership hosted a Grand Re-Opening and Hurricane Relief Event to show our support for the community. The event included entertainment by a stilted LED robot performer, glow-in-the-dark lounge furniture and luxurious Alfa Romeo and Maserati vehicles on display. The experience was beyond our wildest dreams of what we envisioned our Grand Re-Opening to be. Close friends, family and customers were here alongside us as we donated one of the Qvale Auto Group’s first of many contributions to the American Red Cross. During the Hurricane Relief Effort campaign, a promotion was held to donate a portion of the sales made from October 8, 2022, to November 12, 2022, and for every car sold, $100 was donated to the American Red Cross’ Hurricane Ian Relief Fund.
The community really took charge in aiding our efforts to help those affected by Hurricane Ian. Because of this, our group’s Executive Manager of Operations, Geno Walsh, and Conner Qvale (CEO Bruce Qvale’s son) were able to present a check of $50,000 to go towards the Red Cross’ Hurricane Relief efforts. This opportunity to help our community is something we will never forget, and we look forward to showing our support even more in the future.
